Leeds’ Spectral Vision System
Leeds Forensic Systems, Inc. is pleased to introduce the new Leeds’ Spectral Vision System (LSV), a multi-wavelength viewing device that is used to highlight bodily fluids, trace evidence, accelerants, explosives, and gunshot residue on a sample.
The innovative and unique LSV System has an extended reach, digital viewing, and capture workstation for the forensic lab. Key features include:
Multiwavelength LED Lightingt
- Ultraviolet (UV) emitting LED, peak at 365 nm.
- White emitting LED with a bandwidth of 400-700 nm, color temperature at 6500°K.
- Violet emitting LED, peak at 405 nm.
- Blue emitting LED, peak at 455 nm.
- Orange emitting LED, peak at 590 nm.
- Near Infrared (IR) emitting LED, peak at 850 nm
- Motorized LED lighting selector.
- 4” to 24” illumination field
Turret
- Multiple position barrier filter turret with an open position. The barrier filter options are: 400 nm (Violet), 455 nm (Blue), 495 nm (Cyan), 550 nm (Green), and 570 nm (Yellow).
