Materials-Pro, the materials analysis plug-in module for Image-Pro Plus, is designed for industrial materials scientists and technicians who need improved solutions for quality control and product development. Working in conjunction with Image-Pro Plus, Materials-Pro is the leading image analysis software system for the automation of widely used standard materials tests. Unlike manual methods or existing systems which are either too expensive or difficult to use, Materials-Pro is a user-friendly product will deliver reliable, repeatable results on the hardware of your choice at a price performance breakthrough.

Materials-Pro is a state-of-the-art software package for the analysis of metals, ceramics, coatings, powders, and other materials. It is Windows-based, runs on standard PCs, and supports a wide variety of imaging hardware for easy system integration. A simplified tab dialog allows you to easily acquire, process, and analyze your sample image sets through specialized routines. Special measurements for area percentages, grain size, shape, porosity, modularity, and phase analysis are included. Customized reports can be quickly generated using the Report Generator.

Materials-Pro follows typical lab protocols making it intuitive and easy to learn. The software uses terms commonly used by materials analysts. Dialog boxes use materials terminology and follow standard operational sequences. Materials-Pro follows pre-defined image enhancement procedures based on the class of material being analyzed. The user oriented materials science interface guides you easily from image acquisition to processing to analysis to final results.

IMAGE DATABASE

Materials-Pro utilizes Image-Pro Plus's full featured image database. The database provides all the functionality you need to efficiently organize, retrieve, and send your images in any of the industry standard formats. Images can be easily located through keyword searches, image folders, or custom fields. In addition, you can print or view full size images or galleries of images.

INCREASE PRODUCTIVITY

Materials-Pro can make your job easier and your staff more productive. Set your samples up on your microscope and with just the click of a mouse, you can select a similar image type from the gallery of images to begin your analysis. Materials-Pro will display a template program and provide you with an application-specific suite of image processing functions. From there, Materials-Pro will quickly guide you all the way through the analysis - from suggesting an opening strategy to producing accurate test results. It's just that simple!
