Olympus MicroSuite™ - Basic SuiteThe new MicroSuite™ - Basic package provides you with features to overcome imaging problems. As with all MicroSuiteTM packages, this software is designed to guarantee your success right from the beginning. MicroSuite™ - Basic strictly follows standard Windows conventions, immediately making it user-friendly, even if you've had no previous experience with imaging software. MicroSuiteTM-BasicMicroSuite™-Basic offers image acquisition, image processing, interactive measurement, archiving and report generation. Large data arrays are handled through common spreadsheet formats like delimited text, and can additionally be saved as Excel files. Statistical results and diagrams are easily generated and displayed or printed on a single report. MicroSuite™ - Basic also supports report generation in conjunction with the database. Based on templates that you design, you can use images, data sheets, diagrams, histograms, spectra, text, or database fields to create your reports.
Image acquisition - All functions are integratedMicroSuite™ - Basic provides for image acquisition from almost any source, Monochrome, color, NTSC and PAL video, digital averaging, digital integration or analog target integration, live image keying, and triggered image acquisition or dispensing of TLL signals are supported. Microscope, scanner, camera and image buffer parameters are defined as input channels, and then selected via mouseclick. MicroSuite™ - Basic efficiency controls Soft Imaging System's own digital cameras, the F-View and ColorView, as well as many other cameras.
The 'Live-Processing' and 'Live-Overlay' modes offer the ability to actually process images during acquisition, i.e., in real time. The live histogram and overexposure warning help you to utilize the full dynamic range of the camera, without over-saturating your image, Image operation such as correction of camera artifacts, integration and averaging, automatic contrast maximation, and automatic sharpening can all be carried out while in the live mode, resulting in optimal image display. MicroSuite™ - Basic features user-defined work spaces. Just save your configuration - including all open documents such as databases, sheets, diagrams, etc. - by one click of the mouse. The multiple ViewPort Manager has multiple advantages. Users will appreciate the well-structured user-definable display for each image, and synchronizing multiple images. The Navigator enables you to navigate within the Overview image of the ViewPort Manager and thus view the zoomed image segments in the image document. You can see details at full resolution while still maintaining a point of reference in the overview image. MicroSuite™ - Basic offers a large collection of import file formats. Virtually any files from your hard disc can be imported, including scanned photomicrographs and digital images transferred via SmartMedia or flash memories. The package includes the option of calibrating your imported images. |
