Leeds Micro

Effective immediately, Leeds is offering, as part of our COVID-19 response, free Evofinder software licenses to existing customers for 120 days.

Gun crime doesn’t stop for COVID-19. You shouldn’t have to either.

To assist labs faced with ways to work from home, Leeds is offering Evofinder users 120-day licenses of the Evofinder software, at no charge, for use to work from home. This would allow examiners the ability to work with the system remotely for purposes of automatic ballistic identification for bullets, bullet fragments, and cartridge cases in addition to conducting Virtual Comparison Microscopy (VCM).

While the Evofinder Scanner itself would still be needed for scanning purposes, we hope this solution will provide our customers to help maintain casework during this event.

Please contact Leeds for instructions on how to download and set up your 120-day license. Please note that we will have two options available for the labs’ usage, either through an internet connection to your existing Evofinder server, if available, or as a standalone system.

Leeds will have web training available during this period and has made arrangements to have staff available for support throughout this period. More details to follow.

Best regards,

The Leeds Team
