Leeds Forensic Systems, Inc., a global leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of forensic comparison microscopes and forensic imaging systems, has just announced that it has sold its 500th forensic system.
Leeds forensic products include firearms and tool marks comparison microscopes, including the Discovery, LCF3, and LCF2, and trace evidence comparison microscopes, including the LCT. In addition, Leeds designs, manufactures, and distributes imaging systems, including the LSV2 spectral vision system, a multi-wavelength imaging tool used to view, capture, and document bodily fluids, victim bruising, trace evidence, and explosives, and the N-IRC, a near-infrared imaging system used to highlight gunshot residue on forensic evidence. Leeds comparison microscopes and imaging systems have been sold to the FBI, ATF, TEDAC, US Postal Service, and US Army and to a majority of the forensic laboratory systems in the United States. In addition, Leeds forensic systems have been sold to over 40 laboratories in over 20 countries around the world.
